In celebration of National Heritage Week, join wildlife artist Melissa Culhane (Doran) for some nature drawing. This will be a relaxing, slow wander where we use drawing as a way of looking more closely and appreciating the beauty of the nature in our doorstep. This is suitable for kids (5+ years) and adults alike and we will all do some easy drawing together.
Please bring along a notebook or sketchbook and don't forget a pencil!
Melissa illustrated the number one bestselling Irish wildlife book "Naturama" and animated the short film called "A Quack Too Far". Her new short animation, "Keep Going, Little Snail", is in production and she has just been awarded an Arts Council Bursary to develop her new book for children, "Growing Up Human".
